Is my trip to Belarus covered?

We can offer travel assistance for a private trip to Belarus. However, we have to take into account some restrictions in our freedom to operate locally due to international embargoes Below is some more info: Europ Assistance, like any company and individual, is obliged to comply with national and international anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and international sanctions regulations. Therefore, Europ Assistance will not provide cover, charge, pay compensation or provide a benefit or service as described in the policy if doing so would expose it to any sanction, prohibition or restriction under United Nations resolutions or European Union or United States of America trade or economic sanctions, laws or regulations. Belarus is currently a country for which increased vigilance must be exercised in respect of transactions with natural persons, legal entities and financial institutions. As a result of the current sanctions regimes in force against Belarus, we may experience difficulties in performing all or part of the services covered by the contract. In such circumstances, certain medical assistance services provided under this contract may be guaranteed by reimbursement rather than direct coverage. Any person, company or organisation that enters into a transaction with a person, company or organisation subject to a sanctions regime may also be sanctioned. In such a case, we may not be able to perform all or part of the services covered by the agreement. More information can be found on the following websites:
